For over four decades, MRT has been a valued partner for over 50 paper mills! Originally known as The E.L. Epperson Company and rebranded MRT in 2008, MRT prides itself as a valued repair partner. We are also a preferred manufacturer of new products including Cylinder Moulds which are designed and manufactured to exact specifications.
While we specialize in rebuilds and reconditioning a variety of machinery, MRT also manufactures new Paper Cylinder Moulds, as well as rebuilding/reconditioning our competitor’s cylinders to better than new condition. Our propriety design will last and outperform any cylinder moulds in the business!
MRT also conducts Nondestructive testing (NDT) testing to ensure quality and to detect possible defects using NDT methods of inspection. MRT also has a full-time Level II NDT Inspector on staff to limit down time. Nondestructive testing (NDT) is the process of inspecting, testing, or evaluating materials, components or assemblies for various faults, or differences in characteristics without destroying the serviceability of the part or system. In other words, when the inspection or test is completed, we’ll know if the part can still be used. MRT applies testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and valuate results by using Mag particle or Dye penetrant testing methods.
